A black jacket/coat is quintessential winter must have for everyone.Black coats are for sure timeless, and I am sure there’s one in your closet too.Black winter clothing is practical for various reasons, but the short answer is ‘warmth’ dark colors are better at drawing in and holding heat. Most people don’t have multiple winter coats and when faced with picking a color or shade that will be appropriate for almost all occasions, black is the clear choice.Apart from this huge scientific advantage the only drawback that comes with it is that you look like you are wearing the same outfit everyday and that can seem a bit boring.
Though I make it a point to add some color to my winter wardrobe every year, it’s not unusual for me to wear just black or grey. Some innovation is required while going for the right way to wear black coats and if you feel you are running out of options you just need to shake up your wardrobe.
Here are my favorite black coats and how I choose to style them:
1.I always feel that black outfits are the most difficult to style , thus they are an exception to my mostly color coordinated winter looks. An all black winter look does not sound very interesting to me. I prefer wearing my black puffer coat with blue jeans and knee-high grey boots instead of black ones.

2.I also prefer to accessorize my black coat with any bold colored bag or scarf can be the cherry on top of your look without forcing you to go too far out of your neutral color comfort zone. When it comes to layering I prefer to layer with a bright colored sweater.
